Diseño de intervención educativa para fortalecer las habilidades cognitivas del personal de enfermería en fisioterapia respiratoria

RESUMEN El presente trabajo de investigación estuvo guiado por el paradigma cuantitativo, persiguiendo como objetivo general, fortalecer las habilidades cognitivas del personal de enfermería en fisioterapia respiratoria de acuerdo al nivel cognitivo del personal de enfermería, identificado en base a un instrumento validado; para posteriormente implementar una intervención educativa en una clínica hospital de segundo nivel de atención del Instituto de Seguridad Social al Servicio de los Trabajadores del Estado (ISSSTE) en la región oriente del estado de Morelos, en el periodo de junio de 2018- abril de 2019, con un universo de 52 enfermeras. Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo cuasi experimental prospectivo. Que consta de tres fases; en la fase I se realizó una evaluación diagnóstica al aplicar un cuestionario de 16 ítems, para determinar el nivel de habilidades cognitivas iniciales del personal de enfermería, cuyos datos obtenidos se vaciaron en una base de datos del programa Excel y fueron analizados a través del programa estadístico Stata v11 Los resultados de la fase I se presentan en tablas y gráficos y son la base para el diseño de una intervención educativa en un universo conformado por 52 enfermeras que laboran en dicha institución.

ABSTRACT The present research work was guided by the quantitative paradigm, pursuing as a general objective, to strengthen the cognitive abilities of the nursing staff in respiratory physiotherapy according to the cognitive level of the nursing staff, identified based on a validated instrument; to later implement an educational intervention in a clinic hospital of second level of care of the Social Security Institute at the Service of State Workers (ISSSTE) in the eastern region of the state of Morelos, in the period of June 2018-April 2019 , with a universe of 52 nurses A quantitative quasi-experimental prospective study was carried out. It consists of three phases; in phase I, a diagnostic evaluation was carried out by applying a questionnaire of 16 items, to determine the level of initial cognitive skills of the nursing staff, whose data obtained were emptied into an Excel data base and analyzed through the program statistic v11 The results of phase I are showed in tables and graphs and are the basis for the design of an educational intervention in a universe made up of 52 nurses who work in this institution.
