EDVAART SETHAZIZ JATIRIAN FOLTIDES

In this thesis an analysis of the interaction of three waves, in order to make a super heterodyna amplification in the infrared range blocks. There is a spatial wave amplification load structures Gallium Arsenide (GaAs), because of the negative differential conductivity, but mainly on the type of glass. In the first chapter soon, speak of the main features that make the materials, in order to understand the reason for their behavior at an atomic level. Also talk a little classification that exists in some materials, which are our primary concern semiconductors, and some features of the same are given. The crystal growth technology has made it possible to produce semiconductor materials of certain substances, mainly germanium and silicon with a purity and crystalline perfection fantastic, a much higher than can be obtained at present with grade metals and insulators. The existence of these almost perfect crystals allows the experimenter to observe the electronic transport properties, termoelectrics, and galvanometric effects easily and accurately, and be sure that what you are trying to observe, do not darken the effects caused by impurities or imperfections structural in the crystal lattice. Therefore, in semiconductors can easily observe and interpret phenomena in other compounds would be difficult or impossible to accurately measure or explain in a way. The Gunn effect is where we can notice a zone of conductivity that causes an effect of negative differential mobility and this amplifies the wave, called this wave, wave load, give a short historical review and an explanation a little more detail. The second chapter will be a brief analysis of the amplification obtained with Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) material in order to illustrate the analytical methods used in this thesis, which later will be used for the material of interest is the nitride Indio (InN). Finally in chapter three, the analytical methods are developed, the numerical method for the simulation, and results show that amplification is possible using this item (InN) were shown. x From a mathematical point of view, semiconductors can be understood as very interesting nonlinear dynamical systems, as they show a wide range of instabilities, boundary conditions and restrictions not found, for example, the wellknown fluid systems. In the second chapter all the mathematical analysis is addressed from an example made of GaAs, to the methods used in this thesis to analyze the material of interest ( InN ) .
