dc.description | Resumen
| es_MX |
dc.description | Abstract
A serie of regioregular (RR) poly(3-hexylthiophenes) P3HTs was synthetized by
direct arylation polymerization (DArP), an eco-friendly method. Obtained
polymers were analyzed by 1H NMR, DSC, TGA, GPC, FT-IR, UV-vis,
fluorescence, cyclic voltammetry, powder and films XRD, 2D-GIWAXS and, then,
were applied in the active layer of bulk heterojuntion (BHJ) organic solar cells
(OSCs) employing PC71BM as acceptor and Field’s metal as an alternative top
electrode vacuum-free deposited, it was carried out their photovoltaic
characterization. The morphology of active layers was studied by AFM and by 2DGIWAXS.
An analysis of the P3HTs properties correlated with the power
conversion efficiency (PCE) of fabricated OSC, revealed that the best photovoltaic
performances (3.6 and 3.4 %) were obtained with the P3HTs of low molecular
weight (Mn= 5.1 and 4.9 kDa) and IPD nearest to one (1.3 and 1.5), with the
highest rr-P3HTs (94 and 93 % HT), -defects free, and as the X-ray diffraction
and GIWAXS results endorse, with an edge-on orientation over substrate, with
the highest size crystal and the highest and sharpest Bragg peaks, being this last
characteristic the most decisive to obtain the best performance in the devices
from this work. On the other hand, in the polymers synthetized with the highest
amount of catalyst (1.25 and 1.00 % mol) the presence of -defects was confirmed
(obtaining the most deficient PCEs), nevertheless, a gradual addition of catalyst
during reaction avoided this kind of undesirable branching. Theoretical
calculations allowed to analyze the crystalline arrangement of the polymers.
Additionally, ternary OSCs were manufactured by adding a small molecule named
as ITIC (non fullerene) as third component in the active layer of the OSCs; it was
possible to overcome the PCE of the binary system P0.05:PC61BM with a
difference of 14 %, however, a broader investigation of ternary system is required. | es_MX |
